Fahim is insanely prolific, with 6 albums out in 2019 and 2 under his belt in 2020, the latest Lost Kingz. 'Renowned' is an up-beat mid album track. It uses vintage samples like a catchy keyboard run, a funky bass slide, and a live drum beat to create a sense of optimism. The production is satisfyingly monotonous from the repetition of the overlapping samples. Fahim's rap is breezy and smooth-flowing as he tells us about his hometown and contemplates bigger thoughts: "I'm well known, but I live underground...fake love don't pay, we all die some day". 'Renowned' is a classic-sounding hip-hop tune that tells the story of Fahim's hometown. -Ellie Rose-Davies
